I grew up in Vilnius, Lithuania where winters could be very cold. Some birds would decide to stay in the city in winter instead of migrating and on some very snowy and cold months people would hang feeders for them. We used to have one made from a milk carton and hanging in front of kitchen window in the third floor. Yellow great tits were the most common bird to visit. My grandma would hang a piece of lard for them.
Feeding birds is not good for them, so don't do it, enjoy a painting instead :)
Acrylics on upcycled canvas.
