An original watercolour and mixed media painting.
I am a bit obsessed with pictures of giant greenhouses. They are amazing. Those vintage ones, of old Victorian era botanical gardens. Or a bit more industrial looking. All are amazing. New or abandoned. And you know what? I can't draw them. This never happens :D This is my closest attempt. A restaurant. Every second Thursday the members of the Sneaky Fox Club (they like to call themselves that way. In reality, it is just few friends coming here for some drinks. They needed some excuse so that's where all the club thing happened. It's like book club where you end up drinking wine and sharing the gossip. But it sounds much better this way. The only sneaky thing here is that glass of whiskey).
It says it is mixed media, but mostly it is watercolour. And the line. Well, that's an interesting story. I did it in a sketchbook on pretty bad paper. Not toilet paper, but almost. Thank I scanned it, printed and painted on top. So it has a tiny bit of print in it, but it is one of a kind. Dark and vivid colours, I like it that I'd love to keep it, but really, my walls are not unlimited.
FRAMED in Melbourne made wooden frames (nice looking, long lasting, not just plastic stuff). You know, supporting locals is cool.
